D.carden
i practiced the "1-reload-1" today ( dry fire ) can do a sub-2 sec ( timer set at 2 sec par ) 1 out-of 5 times. 2.25 seems to be more consistent and controlable. spook, hop, ill get this on video after more practice at live-fire. Its do-able dan
spook
Draw .96, .21, .20, .21, .23, .20, reload 2.08, .23, .21, .22, .22, .20 = 5.17( Jerry Miculek world record for this drill is 2.99 ) You're better than you think you are Sam. You can subctract the draw time from your time. When Jerry set that record, the time started at the first shot. So your total time would be 4.21 seconds But Damn! What a big improvement in less than a year!
hopalong
Yes Spook, I agree now that you showed me the math... He would be finished by the time I get my gun back on target. Whew now I'm getting there. Good Shooting. SAM
Ron Ankeny
Draw, shoot, reload, and shoot again (and presumably hit something) in under two seconds is one helluva accomplishment with a revolver. The same drill on demand with a par time of 2.25 is smoking right along.
