SPOOK did so well on his great accomplishment I thought I would pull out the old note book and check some of the things I wrote down.

Jan 2004: Std Metric IPSC target (Humanoid) 7 yds (basicly 5 meters)

Best draw to A Hit: 1.21

Best draw to any hit: .89

Dec 2004: (Turtle Target) 7 yds

Best draw to A hit: .81

best draw to any hit .76

Jan 2004

Draw shoot 2 reload shoot 2 with all A's

Draw-1.57, .31split, 2.84 reload .30 split = 5.02

Dec 2004

Draw- .93, .21 split 1.98 reload, .22 split = 3.34

Jan 2004 Draw shoot 6 reload shoot 6 all A's

Draw- 1.55, .31, .34, .30, .38, .32 reload 2.79 .40, .33, .31, .36, .41 = 7.80

Dec 2004

Draw .96, .21, .20, .21, .23, .20, reload 2.08, .23, .21, .22, .22, .20 = 5.17

( Jerry Miculek world record for this drill is 2.99 )

These are numbers I wrote down last year to compare to this year to see how much if any improvement was made.

Grand total of 4.71 seconds saved in just these 3 little drills :D

This is for SPOOK !!! B) AND whoever else wants to try it !!!! ;)

DEC 31, 2004 Turtle target at 7 yds (5 meters?)

Draw shoot 1 reload shoot 1

Fastest for ME 2.69 .84 draw(A) 1.85 reload (D) low hit

Best with A's 3.13 1.04 draw, 2.09 reload

Both nice pretty center A's not 3 inches apart and just to the right and low respectively of the "A"

Practice does Help after all :P

Good luck next year guys/gals

i practiced the "1-reload-1" today ( dry fire )

can do a sub-2 sec ( timer set at 2 sec par ) 1 out-of 5 times.

2.25 seems to be more consistent and controlable.

spook, hop,

ill get this on video after more practice at live-fire. Its do-able

You're better than you think you are Sam. You can subctract the draw time from your time. When Jerry set that record, the time started at the first shot. So your total time would be 4.21 seconds :)

But Damn! What a big improvement in less than a year! B)
