Round_Gun_Shooter
Anyone have more info on this revolver record attempt? Message from Jim Scoutten:OLN is airing a lot of Shooting USA episodes in the final weeks of 2004 and we hope you are enjoying seeing those reruns, but there are three new episodes coming that I want to call to your attention. (SNIP) December 31st (New Year's Eve) Jerry Miculek steps to the shooting line to set two new world speed shooting records. You won't believe the speed of the fastest man to ever shoot a double action revolver. 8:00PM Eastern with a replay at 11:00 PM Eastern (8:00PM Pacific). Plus we have the inside story of the creation of the S&W 500 Magnum. I can promise you it's more excitement than anything Regis may be doing in Times Square on New Year's Eve, filling in for Dick Clark. Those shows are our Christmas presents to you that are sent with our best wishes for the holidays. All of us at Shooting USA will be taking a few days off during the holidays to enjoy some time with family and friends. We wish you the best for a prosperous and happy 2005. spook
I found this: Week of December 31st –Jerry Miculek - Revolver World Records He is considered the fastest man alive with a double action revolver, after setting three world speed shooting records in 1999. Now Jerry wants two more records from the past. He’s trying to break the late Ed McGivern’s record for 5 shots from a revolver in 0.60 sec. and six shots from each of 10 revolvers in less than 20 seconds. We’re in Jackson, MS to find out if he can become the fastest who ever lived. But I thought he already did those.

Ted Murphy
IIRC the record Jerry got was 8 shots in 2.00 seconds, 8 shots on 4 targets (2 per) in 2.XX seconds, and 6 shots, reload, 6 shots in 2.99 seconds . First was a 627 .38 super, second was with a

Those are way old. I saw the six shots from 10 guns, so I know that's a re-run. Haven't seen the 5 shot record attempt.
