Purely relaying what I was told when I bought my RTS G35 from TTI, Taran recommended the gen 3. Gen3, they're easier to get good triggers on. I know a low of people love the gen4 because of the changeable back-strap beaver tail, but gen4 triggers can be so troublesome at times.
