Steve RA Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) Look on the Hodgdon website, it has loading information for CFE Pistol powder. Clays is really good for 9mm Minor !!! I use 3.2 gr of Clays with 130 gr LSWC and it goes 1000.8 fps average, Winchester brass and Tula KVB-223 Small Rifle Primers. OAL is 1.11" in my particular 1911. HOGRIDER Posted April 4, 2014 Share Posted April 4, 2014 Yes! The author of the featured article in the 2014 Annual developed loads ranging from 9mm thru 45ACP. One example in 9mm yielded 1.45" groups in a Glock 17 using 147gr Cast Missouri bullets! Only info not provided in the "article" were his OAL's...... Picking up a lb that my Son found for me in Louisville, KY next weekend; and hope to develop a load with 147gr Zero JHP's. Author states the CFE burn rate appeared to mirror results comparative to Winchester AutoComp; and the reduction in copper fouling was definitely there.
