Safariland Holster for limited 10 and grip for STI Eagle

Hello all,

Is any one running a safariland Model 014 Open Class Holster?

I am Shooting a STI eagle and I received a 50 percent off coupon. I was thinking of purchasing a rig. I would run the rig in USPSA Limited 10 and Steel. Also, I was thinking of getting a thinned out and under cut grip too. I shoot most of my guns with a extremely aggressive grip. However, it makes it tough to readjust if you grip wrong. Any recommendations on either of the above would be greatly appreciated.

Especially, since Safariland said the do not make a competition holster for the STI eagle. They only make one for 2011. LOL

You cant get wrong on that holster. In my opinion it is one of the best on those divisions you mentioned...

I just looked at my 014. The retention is on the trigger guard. What makes you think it won't work on a STI Eagle? I shoot an old Caspian Hi-Cap with a round trigger guard and it works fine. It is the best holster I have ever used and at $100.00 how can you beat it. Your trigger guard is the same as a 2011 so I can't imagine it wouldn't work.,

I know it will work on the gun. I had to laugh because Safariland Customer Service said it would not.
