fishhunter3
I'm not sure were this goes, so I thought I would post it here.I know people like to video then self shooting matches, and I have no problem with this.. but as of late our local club has a person that is videoing everyone and it is starting to cause a problem, he is holding up stages as he setup and turns on cameras, and he came up and moved me out of his way, the only problem I was 1 of the RO's, and I was in his way,not sure what I could do can a person be DQed and ask to leave the area, becouse talking has not worked so far, I'm going to talk to the club Pres. and VP tonight an see if I can get this fixed before there is a problem and someone gets hurt. Sarge
No excuse. Tell him to clear the stage area and if he doesn't, there is a rule for that. Besides some people don't want to be on video due to work etc. stop him in his tracks now!
BritinUSA
No excuse for this at all. He should have pre-planned where to put cameras etc before the match has started. I see no problem in asking an RO if he can stand in a certain place so the camera can get a clear shot as long as the RO can meet his obligations safely. I've had a few RO's that could not cooperate but on the whole most have been very accommodating. Safety comes first so it sounds like the MD needs to get involved.
