prairiefire Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 I am wanting to get a good to great 9mm with an SA trigger and threaded barrel as I want to shoot suppressed. I had an STI in the past and it was wonderful, but not sure I want a double stack. Any experiences/recs? polymerfeelsweirdman Posted February 23, 2014 Share Posted February 23, 2014 A few things that come to mind: CZ tactical sport (not sure if threaded barrels are available) CZ shadows and regular models (can convert or buy as single action only) STI and SVI (I am sure you know about these already) Dan Wesson Pointman 9 (a nice single stack 9mm 1911 for reasonable money) I always like saving money when I can so I would go with a CZ or the Dan Wesson. There are some other cheaper 9mm 1911s but they probably have inferior parts compared to the DW and do not look as good so long as you do not get the hideous version of the PM9 with giant text on the slide.
