It will be conducted at the Southern Utah Shooter’s Sports Park in St. George, Utah June 25 -28, 2014. Ming the Merciless Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 Hmmm, I don't know if that's GREAT or LOUSY timing. The West Coast Steel Championships are June 21 & 22 in Piru, Ca. ericjhuber Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 I'll admit that I'm bummed that it won't be at Universal Shooting Academy since I love shooting events there, but I suspect the reasoning is to establish a major Steel Challenge Match as close to California as possible to attract as many people who would normally shoot the match when it was at Piru and then use the US Nationals in Titusville, Florida as the major East Coast Steel Challenge match. Sounds reasonable and I have very nice things about the Saint George facility so I'd be inclined to make the trip out at some point since I had so much fun at the 2013 Steel Challenge at Frostproof.
