sperman
I had to do the same thing last fall, and was shocked at how much it cost to rebook a flight, even though it was still about 4 weeks out.

bountyhunter
OK, full confession... The problem creating the need to rebook a flight is entirely of my making. All $285 worth. I remember one time on a business trip to LA that the secretary booked my boss into LAX and me into John Wayne airport in LA.... which annoyed my boss because that meant we would each have to rent a car and he didn't want to pay the extra $50 for a car rental for one day. So he goes up to get my ticket changed so that we would both fly into LAX.... and after the ten minutes it took to do it all, the clerk said: "That will be $330." I had to fight really hard to keep from laughing. Spent $330 to save $50. Edited December 30, 2013 by bountyhunter
Dennis (CT)
Burt when the Airline cancels "your" flight - be sure to ask for the rebooking Refund. They changed yor flight so you should be due a refund. They charged you when you make a change so quid-pro-quo. And do not be shy at the counter ~ be polite but not shy.
