OAL for .40 cameron custom 5" with schuemann barrel

Does anyone have a good starting place for OAL my new Cameron Custom .40 with schuemann barrel I am going to use WST about 4.6gn and 180gn RNFP projectile

Long loaded for 1911 ramped barrels seem to work best at 1.180; both my Para/Schuemann P-16 for Limited and Caspian/Kart for Single Stack run best at 1.180.

I had a new 6" Cameron that would not take long loads. I had to have the lead ring cut deeper. As you work up your load make sure it is not bumping up against the lans. Before I had the lead ring recut I loaded to 1.150 after I loaded to 1.185.

So I spoke to Eddie from Cameron Customs and he told me that for my setup use 1.175 - 1.185

If I recall correctly they recommended an oal of 1.180, but I was getting the occasional failure to feed in my 6" Camerons gun with 165 grain BBI molys at 1.180 oal. I reduced the oal to 1.170 with the molys and its all good now. The gun is 100% with Zeros and Berrys plated at 1.180. I guess it depends on the bullet.
