blairmckenzie1
So I picked up a 24 top end here on Enos, put it together with a KKM conversion barrel and my 17 frame. I've only had time to shoot it twice now and have had some weird failure to ejects. Some will make the slide come back a little and go straight back into battery and others will kind hang up (see picture). The FTE's are maybe only 1 in 50, still not what I want at all. So with that said, what recoil spring should I use? Ammo: 124 gr MG, 4.0 gr Titegroup, CCI primer, 1.165 Thanks for the help
bowenbuilt
4.5 grains of TiteGroup.
dskinsler83
Could be ejector or extractor issues
dskinsler83
Try a 13lb or 11lb spring
fmj3
Try a 13lb or 11lb spring Yep, with that load and that longslide I'd run an 11lb spring (might need a lighter striker spring tho with an 11).
blairmckenzie1
also found some weird marks on the end of the glockworx guide rod. looks like the end of the guide rod is hitting the slide. gonna try a different guide rod and a lighter spring
Quack
When I ran mine, I swapped out the ejector for a 9mm, and ran an 11# recoil spring on a tungsten rod. No functional issues. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk

Fabzz613
One thing a lot of people forget when running conversions is to change your extractor the hook on the original .40 will be shorter then the 9 so it won't get as good grip on the case.
