Bruce
Erik I have long wanted to bird hunt Nevada. Rough terrain but I think my dogs would be fine...their owner would need to train some Do you hunt? Or know someone out there who does? I would like to find a place to go, but showing up blind well, could be a hellish long drive for nothing.
ErikW
I don't hunt but I understand the hunting for, um, grouse or Hungarian partridge or something like that, is really good around here. A lot of the land in NV is BLM land, maybe check into that.

ErikW
"I'm not expecting to grow flowers in the desert" A glorious spring day at Moonrocks turned into a nature study on one of the best trail rides ever. Then packing up, I heard a swooshing sound, like a flag in a steady, stiff breeze, and saw a glider taking advantage of the thermals.
ErikW
Saturday views from the radio towers (Pyramid lake and the shooting range are visible), single track among the flowers, loam sweet loam, and the infamous Mormon cricket...
