trp
I have a 9mm trojan with a great trigger in it, I just bought a trojan in 40 that I will start using or my SS gun So can I pull the trigger parts out of the 9 and put them in the 40 and have the same trigger or should I just get a trigger job done on it ( I called a fe smiths and they all have huge waits) What do you guys think?? While I'm asking the mag release dosent seem to let my loaded mags insert the top of the mag gets locked by the release? Any help would be great Thanks
bountyhunter
It is only a drop-in fit if the frames of the guns are identical, they usually are not. Most of the time, the trigger fit requires a little tweaking to accomodate tolerances. It might work, might not.
38superfan
Only one way to know for sure...try it!
trp
If it dosent work that well it's not going to effect it if I put it back in the original gun, I'm just not sure on how fragile these parts can be?
kmca
What are the chances that you can swap top ends and ejectors?
ltdmstr
slide is not likely to fit a different frame unless the rails are undersize. 9 and 40 ejectors are the same. you will probably have to swap thumb safety along with trigger parts. trp
I tried the whole top end, can't get it on maybe ill just have to break down and get the trigger job
latech15
I swapped parts around one time. Took a pile of hammers, sears, and disconnectors and ended up with a 1.5lb trigger in one gun. The safety didn't work at all, but it was easier to swap safeties than to try and recreate a 1.5 lb trigger.
kmca
I tried the whole top end, can't get it on maybe ill just have to break down and get the trigger jobThat's what I would do. Swap parts and you would probably end up with 2 mediocre triggers. Admit it, you'd probably send it in to get trigger work done anyway
