Actually, you can use either 45 or 38/9mm. Doesn't really matter for STI hi-capacity magazines as their followers are the same for different calibers. kamikaze1a Posted September 22, 2013 Share Posted September 22, 2013 If you use a 1911 9/38 stop on a 2011 you may find that the stop reaches too far into the frame and might contact the bullet causing early slide lock.
