Aircooled6racer
Hello: Has anyone else had a Quinn II mount crack? I tried a while back to get ahold of JT since it was one of his mounts to see if he has seen this. I never heard back. I am just wondering if this is a common problem? Let me know. Thanks, Eric
Whitefish
I've had a Quinn II on a Dawson 9mm Mini Stroker shorty for several thousand rounds and not had an issue. Knock on wood. I believe JT cut a deal to market his mounts through DAA a while back. I just saw one on a vendor website labeled DAA Quinn III. Since that change over, I see they now come with a thumb rest that attaches to the mount, thus the Quinn III. You might try contacting DAA about the cracked mount since no response from JT has been forthcoming.
gng4life
I have three of those and no cracks or issues so far. JT is still around here sometimes so you might get him here eventually. I asked him about the slide racker a few months back and he responded eventually.
Ofishl1
I had a Q2 crack in the same spot
Aircooled6racer
Hello: The mount is not a DAA mount so I would not feel right about asking them. I am asking about the cracking problem since I have another one on my open gun and I am thinking of changing it out before it cracks. Mine is a black anodized one and shows no signs of a crack. The silver one I cracked a while back on my other open gun. May have to look into other options for a mount. Maybe one of Matt's.
