velo918
Anyone out there have or try one? I'm having my Shadow SP-01 modified by CZC. Looking forward to an adjustable low profile sight!
Andreas
Have you considered the HAJO? It fits the Shadow sight cut and offers elevation adjustment. I have one on my SP01 Shadow and it's run without a hitch for close to 10k rounds. I've had the blade fall off several fully adjustable sights on 1911s in the past. velo918
Yes. It had the HAJO on it. I don't like the tall profile, especially the front sight.
z40acp
I have the SP01 Shadow Target and I do like the sights. They make the sighting just like the 1911s I am used to. No trouble yet but I know sometimes on Springfields we would have to put in a drill bit shank for the hinge pin and dimple the side so it could not back out. charliedelta
I have mine on back order. Word on the street is that Angus's shop will be shipping them in October. I have been using a friend's regular Shadow for a while. It is awesome. I went with the Target version to get adjustable sights as well.
velo918
How is the sighting similar to 1911?
z40acp
The LPA sight is about the same sight that is on the Springfield 1911s. Plus its milled in for a lower profile like 1911s.
velo918
That's why I'm getting it done
alma
I like mine. It sounds like some prefer fixed because they are worried about sight drift but it have had no issues.

RexKramer
I have the 75 Shadow Target (close enough for talking about sights I guess). I don't mind the adjustable rear and it's held up well, but I wish the rear notch was a little wider. My other comp pistols have WTs or Dawson's that are a little wider in the back so it makes shooting the CZ a little different. I guess a careful application of a file could solve that issue. Do they make wider rear notches that could be easily swapped out?
velo918
It's funny you say that. I just had the rear notch widened on my shadow with fix sights. I had Matt Mink do mine, very very good CZ gunsmith and shooter.
