550B crushes 9mm brass occasionally

I reloaded 400 rounds of 9mm using assorted range brass. I got 10 pieces of brass that were crushed on the second station. I've been using my 550B for about a year now and this is the first time seeing this problem. What can cause this? The powder funnel looks clean though...

Do you load more than one caliber on it?

Just tighten down the shellplate bolt a little.

Call Dillon for an alignment tool. Machine may be out of time just a little. Just went through this on my 650. Have one of the first 550b's it will need a alignment check after a few years of use.

Hey, guys, thanks for the replies. The set screw that holds the shellplate bolt did feel a little bit loose, giving perhaps too much spacing between the shellplate and the platform. I readjusted the gap and tried a few pieces of brass. I can only say they all felt right at this moment. Thanks again.
