Obsucrem
Just got myself a great deal on a pretty older p220st. I can tell you the gun shoots soft and very accurate. Now that I have an X-5 AA to play my other gun games with, I'm considering shooting CDP exclusively for IDPA to give myself an excuse to run the new beast. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience competing with one and what they are liking for recoil spring. Also I want to throw a warren rear/dawson front combo on this gun but I noticed this 45 runs a #6 front sight instead of a #8 like my 226 and 228. Does running a .160 tall front sight work on a 220 or do I need to go with another combo? Thanks all!
taadski
Congrats on the find. I'm envious. They're great pistols. I shoot 9mm P226s in both production and SSP. I can't help with the recoil spring question, but Re the sights, the #7 Sig fronts are .170 tall and the #8 rears are .160 tall. If you're gonna run a Warren rear (which are taller at .190 tall) you'll need to adjust accordingly. t

I'll give those weights a try now that I've got some 230gr hand-loads to run
Forrest Halley
The 220ST was my first Sig. All I ever did was to mount trijicons and run stock inside. I enjoyed the big soft pistol, but got tired of "lost brass" local matches. Make sure you're making weight before heading to a serious match.
