Puma
Planning on getting a second 45. I would like your opinions on a STI Range Master versus the SA TRP. First of all which is a better gun and which gives you more for your money ? Second, which one retains value better ? Any and all information that you provide will be greatly appreciated. tumbleweed1002
Had a TRP and have a RangeMaster for a pistol that wiil never be carried it's my opinion that the RangeMaster is the better pistol. As far as resale I don't know I have never seen a used Rangemaster for sale but ton's of TRP's that might tell you something of satisfied Rangemaster owners. bountyhunter
STI builds semi custom (fitted) 1911's. Springfield builds production 1911's. STI is the best for the money.

wgj3
Going against the flow here... I've got a bull barrel TRP with rail and adjustable rear sight. I don't recall having had a single hiccup out of it. Shoots great, little heavy(but that helps with recoil in full-power loads), not SS or CDP legal. I can't help much with comparison, but I've been very pleased with mine.
