Paul-the new guy
I have only been shooting open for a little while and I have a less than perfect draw. I am using a CR speed holster and my comp gets hung up on the nipple that goes in the barrel. I am trying to fix my draw but it is pretty burned in from shooting out of a kydex holster that allows me to just rip the gun out. Does anyone make a brass or maybe aluminum nub that wont harm my comp that the gun won't get hung up on?
Guest
Can you remove the plug and just turn the diameter down a little? That might be an easy and cheap way to solve your problem and I know how much you like cheap! FYI - Arredondo sells an aftermarket platform. I filed on it a little but it seems like it didn't get any better. I prefer the term "frugal" Arredondo is still plastic and I think it will have the same issue. I think metal would work better but I don't want to damage the comp...
cheers623
CR Speed used to make a muzzle cup instead of the caliber specific nipple platform. Someone might have one of those they'd give you. I used to prefer them over the newer style when I used a CR Speed. Just a thought, Cheers623 DVC
