L3324temp
The only reason IMO to get the 550 over the 650 is if money is tight. If this is not an issue go with the 650.
benos
What's it cost to add calibers Top Notch style to a 1050? From $400 - $600ish, depending on the calibers involved.
orion251
Get a 650 and don't look back. This. But I have to add, get the CF also. Ordered my 650 without one. Wound up ordering the CF 3 days after the 650 was set up, along with the Dillon trimmer for .223. I am not a high volume reloader but I appreciate the quality and speed of the 650. Sure, the 550 would have probably been enough for me but the CF being able to handle rifle calibers on the 650 sealed the deal. Knew I would want the CF in the future when I got the 650. Full disclosure, I have a single stage LNL that I still use for low volume calibers and test loads......
