TheBrick
I am looking for a source for a spare N frame hammer nose and/or rivets for 625-2. S&W, Gun Parts (Numrich), Gun broker all sold out. I would hate to throw the gun away if it ever breaks. Any suggestions?
Tom D.
Try Jack First. I get K-frame noses from them.
Cd662
There are no entrepreneurial souls on all of Brian Enos who would be able to manufacture new noses for all the folks with old style hammers?
Patrick1981
I find an hammer nose on Midway 2 years ago, but I see the rivet only on Brownells. Search for hammer nose rivet.
MrBorland
I am looking for a source for a spare N frame hammer nose and/or rivets for 625-2. You mean an extra firing pin & bushing? Why not just get an extra hammer assembly? Maybe a bit more money up front, but it'd be cheaper than throwing your gun away. And it's likely cheaper than having a 'smith replace the FP on the original hammer. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/394234/smith-and-wesson-target-hammer-assembly-s-and-w-24-25-27-28-29-57-610-624-1-625-627-657-629-2-500-blue
TheBrick
Thanks folks. I'll try Jack First before I spring for a hammer assembly though.
