prreed10 Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Took the base off one of my STI Mags and the plate slid right off. The retaining pin was broken but the spring is still there. Anybody have a suggestion for a quick fix? I'd hate to drop $30 on a new basepad for a broken pin. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

speed Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 Also if its hard to slide that takedown window open just take it all apart and clean everything out maybe some mineral spirits and compressed air.
