willthesaint
Hi guys I have a cz 75 duo tone and would like to get a comp hammer and adjustable rear sights that have windage and elevation. I have been told that the lpa sights hang at the back and interfer with the hammer. Any suggestions. Cheers Will
kneelingatlas
Will, these are the options I can think of: -cut a notch in the sight blade for the hammer -trim the top of the hammer -have an LPA cut machined into the slide Personally, I installed an LPA sight in a standard cut slide and couldn't stand how tall it was, so I ordered a few sizes of fixed sights form CZ and experimented until I found the right one to move my group to the center of the target. I used to really like adjustable sights, but ever since I learned to zero in fixed sights, that's all I use; fix it and forget it!
blind bat
At one time CZ Custom would sell a comp hammer (the one that comes with the shadow target) for lpa sights. The problem is that it was something like 2-4x the cost of the off the shelf comp hammer. Call and ask. You'd still need to have the slide machined for the target sight. You are probably looking at $300-400.
