JAFO Posted April 16, 2013 Share Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) The only thing Sig makes longer than a standard 226 is an X5 or X6. While I think the X5 slide might work on a 226 frame, I don't believe Sig sells X-series slides by themselves. I know of one person on another forum who ordered a 9mm conversion slide for his 220X6, but it was quite expensive and had to be ordered from Germany, so I guess it's possible that a 226X5 or 226X6 slide might be available for order, but you won't find it in the States. JGus Posted April 17, 2013 Share Posted April 17, 2013 The X-Five slides won't work on a standard P226. The dust cover isn't long enough. The guide rod and spring are somewhat exposed.
