This site was recommended from smith-wessonforum from

a question I asked about my new S&W 617.

Glad I joined, as I found a partial answer and was able

to ask a follow-up question. Awaiting a reply.

BTW and FYI I'm just a handgun shooter in only .22

Mostly target shooting (In Canada the only two reasons we are allowed handguns

is target shooting at approved ranges or collections. If for collection, you can't take the

gun to a range. Crazy gun laws.

Let me try to give a bit about our (gun) laws, maybe on the weekend.

We, gun-owners of Canada, used to envy you (The USA) your gun laws

which, so far, are more permissive than ours. But it looks like there's a major

assault on the 2nd A. And we pray that some sanity returns to the US and to

stop blaming the object and not the person.

We have the equivalents to your Brady (bunch) and Dianne Feinstein and

Bloomberg and Cuomo.

I have just been reviewing the Guidelines for the site and I see that

talking about Political subjects like Gun Control is a no-no.

If the site super-moderator or owner Brian or another allows me to do so

I shall. But I'd rather not be banned when I have barely begun. :-)

Understood. But laws are not a political debate. So I would think that would be OK.
