With the original Kimber polymer frame (same as the BUL M5), you could use Para-Ordnance magazines by either recutting the hole for the mag catch in the tube, or by getting a special mag catch to use Para mags in your gun.

The current frames ... I dunno! I put a Para mag into one last year and it was too tight to be of any use, either for match or defensive use.

I would expect that Kimber mags should be readily available soon if they aren't already.

Try to use a MecGar for Para.

Recutting the hole for the mag catch is necessary or by a mag catch for para.

My gunsmith is making a 170mm out of 2 mags from MecGar for my Bul

Fits perfectly except the magcatch hole ! He has to recut the hole in the mag

I had to file and sand the sides of the Para magazines I had for my Kimber. I also got a Dawson aluminum base plate to add a little extra weight to help pull the magazine out when empty. I had to enlarge the slot in the magazine tubes to get them to lock into the gun. Once these issues were addressed, they worked fine.
