  1. Well last year i went to the eye doc Eyes are perfect, i still see the difference between 0 and 8 and n and m And the + i see clearly. The physical problem is not the problem
  2. My C more Serendipity is almost 10 years old. The dot is not anymore a beautiful red circle but a Roschach dot............... Thought it was the diode need to be replaced. Yesterday new diode installed but same problem, no beautiful round circle................. Tips and tricks? Or a new C more sight?
  3. CR Speed from Rescomp i use. I have the old square guard version Bul M5 Ultimate Racer. No problems, a lot of spacers comes with the package.
  4. I'm shooting 38 Super - CBC brass (Brazilian Magtech). After around 6 times reloading I'm encountering enlarged primer pockets.......... I'm using Federal 205 primers and my IPSC factor is 168-170........ Does anybody have tips and tricks / tools to create a normal primer pocket ?
  5. I'm trying to view the pic, but an error occurred I wonder how the JAF magwell looks like
  6. Try SPS, you have to polish the mag catch and the mag will clean drop out of your Bul . When you use SPS mags, check if the feed lips of the mag don't hit the feed ramp => if it does Dremel
  7. I'm quite satisfied with the Ultimate Racer. Spare parts ? The 170mm mag is / might be a problem. Cut 2 standard mags in 2 and weld them together, or use a SPS 170mm mag ! In the beginning I had some trouble with ejection of the shells, but the problem was caused by a weak extractor. Went to Maurice Drummen - www.mauricedrummen.nl - and he fixed it. Accuracy is fine, the operator sometimes not Good choice, including 3 mags !
  8. Try to use a MecGar for Para. Recutting the hole for the mag catch is necessary or by a mag catch for para. www.rescomp.co.za My gunsmith is making a 170mm out of 2 mags from MecGar for my Bul Fits perfectly except the magcatch hole ! He has to recut the hole in the mag
  9. Talked to the guy who's using SVI mags in the Bul. Old or new model doesn't matter, minor modifications are needed. Magazine lips need some polishing. They don't fall as fast as the original Bul but they work. He uses the 170mm long stick for the long courses etc. Short ones also works perfectly with his equipment. The mag catch is the standard Bul one.
  10. Yes I do have a magwell. I'll try the different kind of mags without the magwell. Maybe testfire some rounds. I have the "old" model with the square triggerguard en not the new one with the rounded. I'm not quite certain what the frame dimensions are of the new and old models. Some say without modifications you can use SVI mags in the new models. Well I hope for some answers tomorrow. I'll keep you posted !
  11. Yesterday I tried some Para mags........... But they did not drop out............... The dimensions of the para mag were a little bit thicker than the Bul............................ Tried a 170mm SPS - Spanish 1911 clone - also fits perfectly, but same problem as the Para -> little bit thicker............. Also didn't test fired it I'm looking for a good but also 100% functionality of the mag. Bought some Arredondo mag packs -> for Para Should work, yes for a month of 3 / 4 But the last couple of weeks @&%@$#&*@ Bul standard capacity 17 rounds, with the Arredondo mag pack 22 round (38 Super).............. Closer look of dimensions is that the follower of Arredondo for Para is a longer and wider, than the standard Bul one. Fellow shooting mate said cut off a coil of the Arredondo spring. Anyone experience with it ? But allrighty, when your looking for aftermarket products for increasing capacity. There are none for some - you need to improvise or buy some products from wellknown companies like STI / SVI or Para Ordnance. Advantage is the aftermarket stuff from Arredondo etc i.e. specially made to fit the wellknown company mags I know a guy shooting Bul and using SVI mags, hopefully he has some time sunday to chitchat about the mags
  12. I'm looking for mags I can use in the Bul M5 38 super. Which one can I use ? SVI ? Some say STI for Para ? If so, what needs to be done to work properly. New different mag catch ? or ?
  13. All, Thanx for the replies. I'll have some testing to do ! Well Trey I'll have some fun by changing / testing and seeing what works for me ! Buddy
  14. Recently i purchased a G35, i want to replace the factory guide rod by a stainless / tungsten guide rod. Aftermarket products consist of a captive or non captive type. Which one to choose & why ? Springs ?? lbs I'm using the G35 in IPSC, PF 178 - 182 All info welcome
  15. Good afternoon Shooter40, Early models slide cracked, I've heard of that. Nonetheless I've never seen one....... Someone has ??? SVI recoil is mild in comparison to the CZ. The SVI is equipped with a Bull barrel, the CZ not........ I used factory Leader and Sellier & Bellot - 170 grains FMJ. As I have earlier mentioned, you can try a heavier bullet for milder recoil. I shot also 206 grains Cooppal Lead FN, very mild recoil. Only the puffs........ Most of the time I'm shooting indoors
  16. Hi there, Trying is buying !!! It's a good choice of weapon !!! Limited 10, pity 16 rounds & +1 base pad - 17 + 1 - I'm using It's a large weapon, but feels good in my small hands ! Quality is quite good. There are some items you have to consider. The slide stop is a weak part (well weak), mine broke after 5.000 plus major IPSC load !!! Still using the factory installed slide spring 12/14 lbs..... I changed to 18 lbs and it works perfectly !!! When I purchased the CZ it was equipped with the adjustable LPA sight and.......... it broke........ A new one installed, couple of thousand rounds and it functions perfectly again. Magazine catch => shorten it, it's too long........... Shooting 2 handed, your left hand might activate it and drop your mag during a course........... It happened to me, twice during a stage.......magazines falling behind the barricade and you can imagine I was quite @#$@*& Out of the box perfect and adjustable trigger 800 gram trigger pull !!! A couple of weak spots, but nonetheless a perfect and accurate weapon. Pepper poppers distance 45 / 50 meter no problem for an average shooter like me falling with 1st round hit !!! For holsters mmmmmmmmmmm My fellow teammate AND fellow CZ 75 IPSC mate uses a Ghost holster very fast, very easy to drop your gun out of your holster.......... I'm using a CR Speed !!!!! Very fine holster and very fast too !!!! Many ways to adjust / secure lock etc Spare parts coming from Germany : Frankonia Jagd http://www.frankoniajagd.de and from http://www.wpelzer.de Good stuff and the delivery time is within a week ! Of course when there is stock. Team Frankonia is also using the CZ 75 IPSC STANDARD !!!! as their weapon of choice in Standard Division =>Production CZ75 in 9mm para I'm quite happy with it and it is a pleasure to shoot. Currently using 180 grains Frontier copper plated. 220 grains H&N high speed is the best ammo, virtually no recoil...........and the most accurate........ fun to shoot, but no fun for my wallet............. 200 grains Frontier copper plated to be tested It's a bulky hardware to see, but pleasure too shoot !!! You won't regret buying one !!! Buddy (Edited by doublemike at 4:39 pm on Feb. 14, 2003) (Edited by doublemike at 4:42 pm on Feb. 14, 2003)
