Fobus holster built to accept a light legal for production?

Would a kydex holster built to accept a rail mounted light be legal for production class? Gun is a sig 226.

Since most of those holster are built to retain the gun by the attached light -- no way I'd approve the use of that holster.....

And with a light attached, the gun would go to open.....

Good point. But, if the retention was ok without a light it would be ok then. I did read the rules for a production holster, they are pretty loose-no pun intended but it still made me smile.

What was the old retention test? Jumping up and down? Does that one still apply?

I have a BT holster that is used for a light (X300) and the retention is exactly the same with or without the light. I can say the BT holsters do not rely on the light to retain or secure the firearm.

I have noticed that most on teh kydex holsters without an active retention mechanism use an indent in the kydex which fits into the ejection port to retain the pistol.
