C-More slide ride- dot is in and out per shot

With every trigger pull, the dot goes away, comes back soft on the next pull, comes back full blast the next pull. That cycle repeats itself constantly and just started today. Time to change the battery, or is my diode about to completely die? This is the 1st time I've seen something like this, so I'm ignorant on the subject. Someone please educate me. Thanks.

Could be the switch. I've had this happen on a C-More. As it got worse, I could make it happen with turning the switch manually.

I doubt it's the battery.

Same here, it was the switch for me. I sent it to Cmore and after about two weeks and $26 (plus shipping), it was fixed.

Could be any place that a connection is made, (i.e. battery terminals, diode module contacts, switch) or a wire broken or breaking loose inside the sight. Sending it to C-more is a good idea.

Joe buy a spare and send yours back to C-More. It is always a good idea to have a backup.

This is good advice but I would still change the battery first then pull the diode and put it back in.
