River Valley Ord. .223 "seconds"

Has anyone tried these? What kind of accuracy can I expect without cherry picking through them?

I have never used that brand but I used Black Hills seconds. The BH seconds were due to blemishes on the cases. The accuracy was equal to the regular rounds.

I've not loaded their projectiles but their prices look good. Nothing on the site does not indicate these are out of stock or back-ordered.

On their website they list the "River Valley .223 seconds as good "plinker" ammo. By adding that little comment, I would think their seconds may have more than a cosmetic blemish.

I was hoping to buy some of their bullets & I sent an email a couple of days ago & tried to call yesterday & have had no response from either one. In the email I told them I wanted to buy firsts or even seconds if firsts aren't available & left my phone number. I understand busy but ................ Anyway, good luck!

My question is how in the HELLO do you get in contact with them???

They will not answer the phone or E-Mail, I wanted to buy brass & bullets.

From what I know of the company, the original owner died, his wife tried to continue running the business but gave up and closed. She subsequently died shortly thereafter. I think I read on another forum that someone bought it from her and is trying to get it going again.
