  1. FYI for the good of the order, Black Dog mags are on sale for 10.00. I got the last 2 25 rounders, but plenty of 10 and 15's left! Also recommend getting the Taccom sold loader.....an absolute God send. Start stocking up on 22's, this is addictive
  2. Okay Guys!!!!!!!! No fair. I just went to the website to order some and they are sold out...
  3. in the market myself, watched the video on the cabela's bag....I think it's bigger than the guy reviewing it! That said. I seem to always fill the space avai;able (I guess that makes me an inert gas)
  4. I am a dedicated heavy bullet shooter in 9mm, esp in revolvers. I've been shooting a 158 gr lead bullet with 2.4-2.8 gr of Solo1000. I am most interested in steel shooting. Does anyone have experience with these bullets, particularly with solo 1K?
  5. Mine is being delivered today! Putting on my 22 trainer to wring it out, then off to the 5.56
  6. Hey Guys Of course, 1st use in a match, my VM was throwing live rounds out of the mag tube onto the ground. Not every time, but at least 3 times. Sometimes 1 shell, sometimes 2. I did polish and lightly file the shell catch. Did I do too much? Any other cause? Suggested fix? Thanks in advance...
  7. Glen was great to deal with, and was very kind to me re: a simple mistake. I wish all involved well
  8. Has anyone out there tried one? I'm tempted @189.00 to get a back up
  9. OK guys I'm feeling like a complete failure. I can't seem to adequately secure the Dillon trimmer to my toolhead. I'm processing 223 brass on a 650 with the trimmer at station3. Regardless of how I tighten the locking rings, they eventually move when I start the motor. Any tips? I'm getting inconsistant trim lengths, even before the trimmer shifts,...thoughts? I have tried 3 different dies, and cannot get brass that fits the Dillon gauge. I'm comparing my brass to professionally processed brass as a guide. Thanks All
  10. First of all....I can't find one in 223.... so will a 220 swift serve the same function to seat the bullet only, and I'll finish it off on another station? I'm planning to use the die to seat/start a bunch of old pulled bullets I have, they are imperfect enough to not feed reliably through my Mr Bulletfeeder, and I'm hoping the seating stem will help save my poor fat fingers from handling the little pills while seating. I have >5,000 of these, so I'm willing to incur the expense. Is this a reasonable thought? Lastly, anyone know where I can find one? I have posted here and elsewhere, and even called rcbs to have them tell me they are "thosands of popular die sets behind" and making these oddballs are not a priority! Any other useful input would be appretiated
  11. I have recently cleaned out the gun room, and rounded up 3 Fastfires and 1 jpoint that had stopped fuctioning as new. Within a couple of weeks of returning them to the manufacturers, I now have all of them replaced WITHOUT ANY FEES!!!!! Kudos to both Burris and JP for backing their products. (Please no dumping on the fact that they broke) We run in very good company fellas.
  12. I shoot a hybrid barreled STI in 40, and can use lead bullets that a club member casts at a great price. The gun is light, wears a bulletproofed Grams Docter on the slide, and fits in any holster. I like it, but to be fair, I shoot mostly steel, and don't have to worry about the recoil. I also have a Steelmaster that sits in the safe more than the 40!
  13. Which is lower, the Cheely mount w/ RTS, or the Arredondo for micro dots? Thanks in advance to the gallery
  14. Anyone have suggestions re: a quick method to cull bullets that might hold up the drop die on the system? I have some old manually pulled bullets that are scuffed up and I'm having some issues running my cheap blasting ammo. Even visual checks don't always cull the out of round ones
  15. I'm loading 55 gr Hornady @ 23.0 gr. Great plinking load, esp w/ pulled bullets I have @ 40.00/K!

Anyone playing with one of these? There is a certain appeal!
  17. I'm interested in modifying a slide to include a dot and supressor sights. I have also been shooting a slide ride dot of one sort or another for many years, and have found them all to be lacking in durability, with the exception of a bullet proofed Docter from Grams (I understand he no longer does this). The latest generation of dots from Trijicon, Burris, Leoupold, and C-More all seem to have fans and detractors. So I'm wondering if any PD's are issuing guns set up as above (M&P's), and what there experiences have been. Any electronic wizards out there bullet proofing these dots?
  18. Hi Steve I still have the 40 open upper we talked about last year! Pm me, I'm a motivated seller with a heart for the new shooters you are training.
  19. Thanks for the info Neil My reason for the M die is to better support the bullet coming out of the Mr BulletFeeder. There is not enough stability provided by the bullet falling into the case mouth to have it not fall off as the press is indexing to the next station. So my understanding of the reccommendations re the die is that I do indeed want to slightly bell the casemouth. Am I correct in my understanding? I'm very pleased to hear the tumbling and charging will not disturb the casemouth. I will be processing a large quantity of brass with the RL1200 and was hoping to "M die" the brass after the trimming and leaving station 1 to assure a clear primer pocket when loading begins. P.S. Did I buy a 38 super revo from you? It's running great, and in spite of the great trigger job continues to light Federal primers 100%.
  20. I am about to load a batch of .223 using my brand spanking new Mr Bullet Feeder (due to arrive tomorrow). 2 questions related to this; 1. I am starting with a number of prepped brass that is sized, trimmed, and primed. Will I reverse the belling of the M die if I bell before charging? 2. When I am finished with the 1st batch, I plan to bell with the M die when I prep the brass, and tumble prior to loading. Will the tumbling dent/negate the belling? Sorry for these newbie questions, but I'm new to rifle loading in large quantities, and have no experience with the M dies PS...I'm loading on a Dillon 650
  21. Does anyone retrofit a vent rib to replace the current sight set up I now have? Thanks in advance
  22. Any ideas on where I can find the details on the modifications?
  23. Ac4 Thanks, I have both types, and would like to know if I can use my Sten mags in the Colt pattern, or just sell them off with the Oly Arms upper I have. No complaints with the OA, I just went with a 10" Pistol Colt, and like the handiness much better. Thinking about doing an SBR with it. "Modified Sten mags are used (without any magwell block) with the Olympic Arms upper "....can I use Sten mags without a block?
