jkrispies
Looking at some used red dots for my AR and found an Ultradot on Craigslist. Never really heard of them before but I guess the bullseye pistol guys use these things quite a bit. Wondering if anybody has used one on a rifle? Do they stand up over time, hold their zero out past 50 yds, etc. Just kinda curious...
rq375
they live fine and hold zero when slide mounted on .45 bullseye guns, I would check the dot moa, some are quite large.

cuzinvinny
I had my Ultradot match dot (variable dot sizes) mounted on my Colt Anaconda .44 mag. and never had any problems with it not holding zero. I have since traded away the Anaconda, and just recently mounted the Ultradot on my 15-22.
jkrispies
http://ultradotwest.com/ That AR mounted ultradot certainly looks interesting... just wondering if anybody has used it??? cuzinvinny, have you had a chance to give your 15-22 a go at the range yet? cuzinvinny
I just had the 15-22 our yesterday. The Ultra-dot worked great. I did mount it on top of a 3/4" riser. This allows a much better sight picture.
