addicted
Hi guys, I'm planning on automating my 1050. I have a bunch off motors and reducers at my shop and was hoping that someone could save me some time by sharing the motor specs on their auto drive. Horsepower, voltage, rpm, torque, any info would be greatly appreciated. Even a picture of the tag on the motor nameplate would work. Thanks! RePete
I believe that JMorris (member here) posted the specs on the motor he used in a previous thread on the Auto Drive.
addicted
thanks guys. I looked high and low but came up short. I ended up buying a Dayton gearmotor off ebay for less than $100. Part #4z134 90v dc 18 rpm 150 in/lb torque. It works well. Hardest part was figuring out the linkage geometry I also extended the crankshaft and added another support bearing, and added set screws to eliminate the play in the key that links the 2 pieces of the crankshaft. Base is 1/2 steel. Clutch is from McMaster.
