Biloxi23
Have you visted Shay's website? Go to acguns.com. They have re-worked the site fairly recently and have lots of pictures and information. You can even send Shay an e-mail from the site, but keep in mind, he is like a lot of the in-demand builders and is very busy.

ktm300
I have one of his 1911's in 9mm. The slide is smooth as glass, the gun runs 100%, the trigger is the best I have ever felt on a 1911, very sharp clean break kind of hard to describe. The gun is very accuate if I do my part. Oh yea, its kind of pretty too. It is the square trigger guard and longer dust cover. If you get the impression that I like the Akai you are correct. I have 3 high end custom guns, two that were a lot more money than the Akai, none I like to shoot any more than the Akai, none I think are built any better than the Akai in any way. They do very very nice work at a very resonable price for the quality. If you go to the website there are two phone numbers, one is Shay's cell phone. He is a great guy and easy to talk to. MC1
I like what I see. Thanks for the post. I'm looking for a new limited gun. This may be the way I go.
