No you can't use normal dies.

FWIW some cases have a taper, 9mm being one of them, so your getting the rim right and above that gets further from correct as you go up.

They also don't do anything for dings in the extractor grove, why the casepro is a better machine for the job.

It's been som years since i worked with the Case Master Jr, and I do not have it at hand to examine. My recollection (subject to deterioration with time) is that the die was a standard sizing die. If tehre was any modification, it was the addition of the interior hex to allow turning the die with the hex bar shown in the video. I'll have to check, but at present i think the die was not made by magma.

If I have the opportunity, I'll look at it again to see what I can determine.

I believe the dies they use are Dillon dies that have a slightly larger ID than a standard die.

45 acp for example has a little "rim" that you have to deal with. .004" not a huge difference but enough you can't use a normal die.
