Yachtmaster
Looking at acquiring this pistol. Heard rumors about quality of early sig 1911; Serial # starts out GS69... May 17, 2012 on the box. Good to go? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Dgutter
I bought an STX in February and love it! After approximately 3,000 rounds I have not had a single issue with the gun at all. Very tight and smooth fit and finish. I don't think you could go wrong.

Yachtmaster
I picked up the Sig STX and love it. Hated to switch out the grips but had to as they were too smooth. What holsters are you guys using? I am using the STX for single stack and none of my std 1911 holsters fit very well. jcc7x7
I've had a STX for a couple of years, not alot of ammo thru it but absolutly no troubles. Great gun and cool looking also. Whats the going rate on them, I bought mine about six months before sig lowered their 1911 prices. Such is life. Actually was thinking of selling it to fund a new project that why I want to know what the going price for them is. Enjoy your STX, they are a great gun

donno
Shot many thousand rounds thru my sig 1911. I think for the money, best off the shelf 1911 out there.
StuckinMS
Sig Max is the way to go. EGW fire controls, dawson ice magwell, love the gun. Buy some .625 extended base pads for the mags and you too will love it.
