Sharkys11 Posted September 24, 2012 Share Posted September 24, 2012 Ok have a friend who is giving me an old Glock 23 its is old carry model. Im thinking of converting it to an open back up gun. eric nielsen Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 If your backup gun doesn't use the same case, same bullet, same powder, same OAL, you're lugging around a very heavy bag of back-up ammo. EkuJustice Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Shoot an STI here with a glock open gun for a backup. I just keep the extra ammo/mags for the glock in an ammo can in the vehicle. For the holster, I have a racemaster holster with a seperate block for the glock. In about 2 min, my STI holster becomes a glock holster. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
