MickB
The Versa Max takes Pro Bore chokes. Best prices are at CDNN ($10 ea). Mick
Ted Murphy
Thank you. Remington's web page mentions the word "Pro Bore" but with no explanation.
MickB
Pro Bore chokes are different than Rem Chokes. The two do not interchange... Mick
mark carr
The Remington pro choke barrel is a bigger inside diameter than a rem choke barrel I just did some comparison a std rem choke barrel .728 Remington pro choke barrel .735 browning invector plus .740 one of the many advantages of big bore barrel that I have never thought about before is accuracy with slugs just did some testing with a 870 std barrel 1100 std barrel benelli std bore barrel versa max pro choke barrel browning gold with a invector plus barrel. The browning gold out shined the others by far repeated clover leaf groups at 80 yds next was the versa max the rest wasn't even close.Winchester feathers,Winchester dear load.Remington reduced recoil & hunting and some federal sabots. 4 shot groups
