Zak Smith
Just got my P7PSP back from Tripp. I sent it last Tuesday, it arrived here this Wed. 8 day turnaround, door to door. Beautiful job, and it runs better now. -z

Eye Cutter
finally, my Para LDA came back from the platers. Had the frame blackchromed as the phosphate finish was wearing off and rust spots were starting to form in the mag well area. had the controls polished to contrast the all black pistol. gunboy
has anyone had a gun done in black chrome that ended up proving to be a durable plating? It seems that regualr (silver) chrome done in matte or bright is as tough a finish as there is but I dont here many success stories about black chrome..Why? davidwiz
This isn't black chrome, but I have Robar's Roguard on my .40 It wears worse than blueing ever could, not to mention how expensive it was. It looks nice, but not very durable.
mcoliver
...but I dont here many success stories about black chrome..Why? Because black chrome wears off like bluing. What you end up with are white spots (chrome) on contact areas of the gun.
