Suicycle
I was browsing through the midway catalog and noticed slides that were 9/38 super specific. I just thought cutting the frame for a ramped barrel, respringing with the correct weight , and fitting an extractor would have it up and running if it started life as a 45. Suicycle
I guess the ejector would need something? Along with obviously mags. And dependant on what firing pin was in slide? Would it need to be changed to a smaller 9mm one because of large and small primers? If this needs to be in the gunsmithing section sorry.
SLM
The breech face on a .45 slide will be too wide to hold a 9/38 rim. You most likely wouldn't be able to get any extractor tension. I'm sure there are also other issues.
Quack
Besides a complete slide, you would need an ejector (if using a .45 host frame) and having the frame cut for a ramped barrel. You might also need a slide stop. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk
Joe139
Infinity makes slides with a interchangeable breech faces so you can go from a 45 to a 9 with out buying a whole new slide
