Religious Shooter
Do the 22 rd .40 factory mags fit the official gage for 140mm? Other than ease of disassembly, any reason why I shouldn't go with the new factory mags over a Dawson/Arredondo basepad with a standard mags Thanks. mwc
USPSA rule book. Appendix D2(8)-Limited division Maximum magazine length 5.561” (141.25mm) or 6.742” (171.25mm) in single stack guns. The Glock 22 round mags are 162mm and are not legal.
splashdown
So if you installed a standard Dawson basepad, they would be too long for open. Dawson should make a basepad that would take these out to 171mm.
Chuck Anderson
If Glock was making them in 9mm I'd say that would be awesome. I can't imagine there are enough guys shooting Open with a Glock .40 to make that profitable though.
splashdown
Good point Chuck. I like 40 for everything and forget about 9mm. If I shoot open again, it will be in a 40 cal Glock.
EkuJustice
I would love them for 9mm. While they wouldnt have the capacity of a bigstick, they would be great for 25 rounds or so
