jswitt99
I just bought a Sti and have wsf and Molly 155's that I need to burn through. Shooing a match this weekend, so won't be able to chrono. Hodgdon site shows 6.2 as a starting load at 1.125. How much should I bump that up for 1.18?

Data shows 5.4 grains of wsf for 180 at 1.125. What is a safe bump in charge for 1.18. I don't mind if not quite major, just want it to cycle. SoonerPast
I load 5.2 - 5.22 gr. WSF with 180gr. lead. 1.18 to 1.20 length.
jmbaccolyte
I often use 155s but with 6.0 grains of WST (not WSF) at 1.24" OAL. I think you may find that WSF seems to recoil a bit more than faster powders. Edited June 15, 2012 by jmbaccolyte
