Brent D
Does it matter which end of a variable recoil spring goes on the guide rod first? Thanks
Brent D
Sorry guys, after I posted this, I found the answer in another thread. The closed end of the spring goes on the guide rod first toward the rear.
RaylanGivens
I didn't see any variable recoil springs on the Wolff site when I bought my springs... I bought standard 14 pound... 15 pound... etc... Wolff recoil springs... are they variable? My springs don't have a closed end, but they have an open end and a slightly smaller end... I assume the slightly smaller end of the spring goes over the guide rod first...

Didn't realize that the conversations about variable springs only related to 1911's... Thanks for clearing that up...
