DickP3
The procedure on the Dillon DVD for adjusting the resizing die on the 550 is to put the handle all the way down, screw the die down until it touches the shell plate and then back the die off 1/4 turn. However, discussions of the resize die adjustment on the 650 say that the die should be adjusted all the way down so that it bottoms out on the shell plate. I think that the Dillon resizing die is the same for both the 550 and the 650. I tried to search for resize die adjustment discussions on the 550 but couldn't find any. So, my question is, what is the proper adjustment for the resizing die on the 550?
benos
There is not any difference in the size die adjustmet for either press. For straight-walled cases, I: the die should be adjusted all the way down so that it bottoms out on the shell plate be
