Barrel change on 625?

5 inch barrel made a world of difference on my 625 that 4 inch barrel was a beast 5 inch was the best money I've spent and the barrel change was also very easy

I have 2 625's with 4" barrels and one will be getting a longer barrel soon. The other will stay a 4" for IDPA.

Now I need to decide if I want to use a 5" or 6". They both weigh the same. I'm leaning toward the 6".

Thoughts???

Which barrel is for the JM 625 shown in the example posted by 4mike? Thanks.

upper is 4 taps grinding - adapted for PC short cylinder

bottom is standard barrel for 45ACP models (JM include)

Has anyone tried a 6inch barrel on a 625? Would it make that much of a difference over a 5inch?

I think they're taking a model 25 barrel (the blued on in the above pic) and threading it on a 625.
