Canuck223
I bought a used shellplate for my 1050 for .41 Magnum. The cases fit nicely, off the press. I hadn't noticed until tried to install it and cycle a few cases, but the shellplate is different than my 9mm and .223 Rem plates. The .41 Mag shellplate is cut with the bottom of the plate open, not lipped beneath the rim. When installed on the press, there's no room for the case to feed into the shellplate. Aircooled6racer
Hello: Could it be a shellplate for a RL1000? Just guessing. Thanks, Eric
dillon
You have an Rl-1000 shellplate, the pockets are open on the bottom, like the RL550 shellplate. Not interchangeable with the 1050 series, unfortunately.
Canuck223
Thanks, At least now I know. As much as this was a pain in the ass to discover, the backflips the seller went through to try and correct an honest mistake made my week.
