Garrett
I recently swapped my PDP6 for a Holosight. The scope is mounted on a G17 on a THE mount. When shooting with this sight, the brass hits the rear right corner of the scope. Any suggestions on how to tune the gun so that it ejects the brass a bit lower? I seem to remember reading that you would need to lower the ejection port when using some combination of mount & scope. However, it doesn't appear that the brass is hitting the ejection port, so just lowering the port by itsself would not solve the problem. The ejector is farily skinny. It doesn't have the frontal surface area that a 1911 ejector does, so filing an angle on this might have a lesser effect on where it throws the brass. Anyone care to share any insights? cpty1
You can use a file to adjust the angle on the Glock ejector. Granted, there's not as much to work with but it can be done. Work a little at a time as the metal files pretty easily.
robomanusa
you can buy one of Dale Rheas extended ejectors from here http://bb-enterprise.biz/item122757.ctlg I have heard they work really well, but have no first hand experience with using them. 21 shooter
You might also check with Fireglock. He has been making some extended ejectors. I have been using one for awhile now and it works quite well. He frequents this site and Glocktalk.
