KungFuNerd
Was thinking about easy ways to add weight to a G17 with Advanrage Arms .22 kit but be able to easily remove it when switching back to the 9mm slide. Something like the "Seattle Slug" could help but I don't know how easy they are to remove and if it would strip out with repeated removal. Plus of course the added weight would only be on the blackstrap. The Brass one is a bit over 3oz. Heavy enough to help?
Blue Jacket
You could try adding weight on the rail.
KungFuNerd
Ah...left out that I am doing lots of Drawing from my regular Holster. I gues I could always get a second holster though
atmar
why would you need weight on a 22lr?
KungFuNerd
why would you need weight on a 22lr? To make it closer to the weight of my G17.
Yoder
I don't have any experience with the conversion kit, but since it's .22 instead of 9mm is there any empty space inside the mag? Maybe epoxy a lead weight inside the side or bottom of the mag.
Micah
A Dawson Ice Heavy magwell would add a fair amount of weight. You are running in to my biggest hangup with using the .22 conversion slides for practice: the weight is so far off that I felt that I was unlearning the weight and balance of my G34 for competition.
